Waldorf Astoria - WiFi HotSpot

An official New York City landmark since 1993, the Art Deco Waldorf-Astoria hotel occupies an entire city block from 49th to 50th streets between Park Ave and Lexington. Inside is like stepping back to a gilded era of wealth and privilege.

For the mere mortals among us the free wifi is accessible throughout the hotel's public areas. Although finding a good seat can be a challenge as the place is huge and very busy (think Grand Central).

We found one of the most comfortable locations to be in the rotunda (pictured) located up the main staircase as you enter from the Park Ave entrance. It has a big chandelier to impress you and plenty of seating. Continue one more flight up to the circular gallery and bar area to find some tables with a few nearby power outlets.

The main lobby and reception area is further inside. There you will find some arm chairs (no tables) and an informal cafe.
