NYPL - Battery Park City - WiFi HotSpot

Battery Park City is the location for the NY Public Library's latest outpost, located a few blocks from ground zero.

There are plenty of tables, complete with power outlets on the main floor, plus a 2nd floor reading area at the top of the main staircase with views of the Hudson river. The 2nd floor has plenty of additional seating, plus a magazine and newspaper stand.

The place is very low key and you can spend as long as you like using the wifi or just reading. If you prefer there are a number of public access desktops you can use also.

The library is closed Sunday and the hours are limited on the other days. Check their web site for the latest opening times before you go.

This is a great wifi spot for anyone working in the nearby financial center. Very quiet with no dropped connections.
