If it's too cold for Bryant Park or you just need a break from pouring over text books at the New York Public Library walk your laptop across the street from the library's north entrance to Cosi Downtown.

There's seating in the back plus a narrow bar area in the front that looks out over the street. Just be sure to pick your time carefully as this place gets very busy, especially at lunch time. No power outlets.
